If you browse around the site you can find out about me and my books.
If you'd like to get in touch, please use the links and details on the contact page. It's always amazing to hear from readers.
Finally, if you'd like to be kept up to date about future plans and new releases, please sign up to my mailing list.

ABOUT
I'm Lea, well, maybe not officially, but that's what my mum called me when I was little, and I have always loved making up stories. I also really like writing them down. However, I don't as much enjoy all the editing and hard work required to get them out into the world!
I like to write about things that feel real to me, and I love incorporating tales from the past alongside present day stories. Exploring the ways we can learn from both our own past and wider history always fascinates me. I also like a bit of gentle humour, a touch of romance, and a happy ending that's all tied up with a bow!
I've lived my entire life in the north of England, but since before I can remember I've been visiting the Isle of Skye for holidays. It was wanting to be in those familiar places, at a time when it was impossible to travel (2020), that led to the Ardmhor Series. And the fictional places I created ended up seeming as real to me as the places that inspired them.
When I'm not writing, or doing my actual job of teaching history, I'm usually to be found daydreaming and trying to control the urge to snack - why do crisps have to taste so good?
